The difference between `Aqiqah and Al-Sabi`

Q 4: What is the difference between `Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) and Al-Sabi' (a name given to the seventh day of birth)? Or does such a nomination give the same meaning?

A4: 'Aqiqah is the Sabi' and there is no difference between both of them. To give 'Aqiqah the name of Al-Sabi' is naming it according to its time.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
